Color box Paper Description:

Coated paper:

Also known as coated printing paper, it is a high-grade printing paper made of base paper coated with white paint. The coated paper includes single-sided coated paper and double-sided coated paper. The weight of coated paper which use for the color box is generally 230gsm, 250gsm, 300gsm, 350gsm.

White card paper:

White cardboard is a kind of strong and thick paper with astringent feeling on the surface. It has high stiffness and is generally suitable for printing color boxes, color cards and paper bags. The weight of the white card paper which use for color box is generally 250gsm, 300gsm, 350gsm. Smaller boxes can also use 200gsm.

Corrugated paper:

also known as pit paper, is used for packaging paper with much stronger strength than the general paper, is a good packaging paper, a lot of things in the outer packing carton is, shock absorption. For color boxes with high load bearing requirements, 200gsm of single powder card or 250gsm of grey card paper will be used on the surface. The most commonly used pit paper is generally divided into A9 C9 W9.

A9: Both sides are yellow with smooth surface and high grade. 

C9: Both sides are yellow with rough surface and low cost.

W9: One side is yellow and the other side is yellow. The yellow side is used for laminating paper. The inner side of the finished box will be white.

Gray paperboard:

There are two types of gray cardboard: double-sided gray cardboard and single-sided gray cardboard. The surface of the gray cardboard is rough, and the stiffness is poor. Both sides of the double-sided gray cardboard are gray, and generally cannot be printed, and can only be used as inner paper. Or it can be mounted with 157g, 200g, 250g white cardboard and copperplate paper that can be printed. The single-sided gray cardboard is gray on one side and white on the other side. White side can be printed. The weight of the gray paperboard which use for color box is generally 250gsm, 300gsm, 350gsm.

Color page paper description:

Coated paper:

Ordinary promotional color pages generally use 105gsm of coated paper and 157gsm of coated paper. Exquisite high-end promotional pages generally use 200gsm of coated paper or 250gsm of coated paper.

Matte paper:

Matte paper also known as matte coated paper. It has a matte effect on the surface. It has a high-end feel after printing. It is suitable for printing beautiful color pages, but the cost is higher than coated paper. It is not recommended to use it to print promotional color pages.

Double offset paper/Book paper:

Double offset paper/book paper refers to printing paper, also called offset paper, and general books are printed with double offset paper. Its thickness is generally between 60gsm and 120gsm grams, and there are also 150gsm of high-weight double-coated paper. Double-coated paper that is less than 60g is not called double-coated paper but writing paper, and writing paper is poor quality paper. Color pages are generally printed with 80gsm, 100gsm, and 120gsm of offset paper.

Double-coated paper that is less than 60gsm is not called double-coated paper but writing paper, and writing paper is poor quality paper. It is suitable for printing forms, notes, manuals, books and periodicals. Double offset paper is generally not used as the cover of the album. The inner pages generally use 100gsm or 120gsm of double offset paper. The inner pages of the manual generally use 60gsm, 70gsm, and 80gsm of double offset paper.
